Privacy and visitor tracking

Fishin' Trip uses website activity to understand which trips interest visitors and help respond to inquiries. MindShiftIQ processes this information for Fishin' Trip.

What this tracking collects

Our visitor tracker records a random browser identifier, a visit identifier, page paths, return visits, time engaged on a page, and actions such as clicking a booking link. It does not identify a person from an IP address, record keystrokes, or send form contents to Google Analytics.

If you submit a booking request or an inquiry, we collect the name, email, phone number, and request details you provide. When visitor tracking is enabled, we can connect your earlier and later website activity in that browser to your inquiry. We use this to understand your trip interest; submitting an inquiry does not sign you up for automated marketing.

Your choices

You can turn off visitor tracking below. Booking and chat remain available. We also disable this tracking when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Turning it off clears the visitor identifiers stored in this browser and stops new activity tracking; it does not delete a previously submitted inquiry.

Storage and other analytics

The visitor identifier expires after 30 days. A visit identifier expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Your browser preference is remembered for 30 days when browser storage is available. Clearing browser storage can reset identifiers and preferences. These time limits apply to browser storage, not to previously saved booking or inquiry records.

We use Google Analytics for website measurement, including pages viewed, engagement, and booking or contact actions. Basic analytics uses an opt-out approach for U.S. visitors. Elsewhere, analytics cookie storage remains denied unless you explicitly enable analytics; Google may receive cookieless measurement signals while cookie storage is denied. Turning off visitor tracking also disables Google Analytics sends in this browser and clears its analytics cookies. We do not send names, contact details, or inquiry contents to Google Analytics. Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled in our tag, and advertising storage remains denied. This visitor tracker does not send your browsing events to Meta or create advertising audiences.
